"13" sketch mechanical pencil on printer paper ~ vanessa v kilmer (c) 20130913
It’s hard to find shoes that fit when you have thirteen toes: six on the left, seven on the right. Cinderella’s stepsisters had it good compared to me. They cut off their heels and toes to get a prince; to move up in the world. I had to cut off three toes to comfortably move.
Vanessa...?
ReplyDeleteYou are a Foot Fondlers Dream Girl!!
I'm sorry about your difficulty in ambulating, but from an admirers point of view it was quite fascinating.
And I LOVED your artwork!
Loved your 13/55
Thanks for playing, You know how I love this theme don't you?
Have a Kick Ass Week-End
I am glad my toes could tickle and titillate you. I live to tease. :)
DeleteAnd a Yahtzee to boot?
ReplyDeleteHappy Day!!!!
You are the winner!
DeleteThat does seem to me like an over abundance of toes. Then again, if you'd had a cobbler, maybe it would have been the right number.
ReplyDelete- Alice
I love cobbler, so we're good.
DeleteIt would come in handy when trying to pick something off the floor without bending over.
ReplyDeleteSee, there's always a up side.
DeleteI am wondering what the genetic or economic benefit of this would be? Assuming a tendency toward this condition . . .
ReplyDelete(30% greater sales of toenail polish?)
I'm thinking they are for added stability and balance to counteract increasing bulk.
DeleteGreat sketch! I have what I consider average-sized feet but women's shoes are so narrow that I only know one woman that doesn't have trouble with shoes and that woman is 5'2 83 lbs with an extremely petite frame, I am not even sure that women's shoes are designed to fit women's feet. Even men's shoes my husband is composed of rectangles/squares (from the back he is a geometrically perfect rectangle lol) his feet are also square and he has a lot of trouble with shoes. I sympathize because if shoe shopping was any harder I'd be barefoot lol Let's not talk about jeans and the pin leg requirement.
ReplyDeletewow that is some kinda toes...def the stability and keeping toe ring kiosks in business as well...smiles...happy friday to you ....
ReplyDeleteYou made them so symmetrical I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said. maybe cutting off one toe would give the need balance :)
ReplyDeleteAh - lucky thirteen? Maybe not so much. Isn't in amazing the things women (me included) will do to their feet for the sake of fashion?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of all the dazzling on the beach you could do with toe-rings.
ReplyDeleteTip toeing through the garden must be amazing! :) Love your sketch and love your 55, Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteLOL! you got me counting toes! Fun! Me - not cutting a single toe even for a prince :D
