flash 55 - cleanliness

~click to make biggerer~

How neat and clean are your home and house?
Have you rid yourself of every villainous louse?

If someone has infected your heart with a germ,
leaving your soul sick and your mind infirm;

if your days are rife with unending strife:

you must purge anything evil and demonic
with an immeasurable gin and tonic.

  1. You have a Hornets nest in your house?
    Tanqueray or Beef Eaters?
I've heard stories about your cleanliness Nessa.
I've also heard stories about Bath Room Pass Outs.
    I'll now shut up
    Loved your Rhymie 55

    1. The hornets' nest was just outside our front door in our holly tree.

Bombay, baby! (I don't like Tanqueray but Beefeater's will do in a pinch.)

I know I've written about being a "Messy Nessy" but did I write about my BRPO's. I have to check. I thought I kept some secrets. :)

  2. I suspect the booze might actually make it worse.

  3. I'm all for a little fire myself--though it probably doesn't bother the demons much. Loved the rhyme, especially the second stanza.

  4. ah there is some nice wisdom in this...we def have to root it out and go to extreme if we need to....but i wonder if the drink will just be a quick stop gap we still have to deal with

  6. I prefer gin and club soda, but let's do this!
How clean are my home and house? Please don't ask!
As for villainous louses, my ex husband moved to Montana. ;-)
However, he stuck me with his wretched cat. I do wish he'd come back and procure the beast!

  7. What a fun little piece!
We used to have a hornet's nest right in our kitchen wall, above the window... boy was it hard to get rid of them!

  8. There should be more booze! Booze makes everything more of a delight at senior match. My home isn't kept the cleanest, which mans that I'm going to have to try your poetic solutions out all the more. :) Thank you for adding a bright smile to my day -- it was definitely necessary.

  10. It makes things better, until the morning :) Hornets are not to be trifled with - I remember my dad being stung multiple times while on a ladder - it wasn't pretty.
