I hadn't noticed the detail of the blossom until I took the picture.
It looks like a sort of water lily, but I'm no botanist. Lovely image!
I don't know what it is really either. My sister-in-law gave it to me for Easter. It is pretty.
Currently without laptop or PC so am using Library. I know who Lilly is as i read her book but who is Walter?Aechmea is a genus of the botanical family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Bromelioideae. Like I know and didn't have to use Wikiwotsit!
The library's computers have saved me several times. You are a silly-billy, today. :)
