I contended with icy roads, high winds,
careening SUV’s, and manic snow plows.
As if that weren’t bad enough,
imagine my fear when I looked into
my rear view mirror and
saw I was being stalked by
Kermit the Frog.
Or was he running from the white van,
screaming in terror?
Write a story in exactly 55 words.
Merry Meet and Blessed Be
Now that's strange. Loved it ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Kermit in the grill-work! I suspect a hit and run. :)
ReplyDeletePoor Kermie! I hope he survived what looks like brutal conditions!
ReplyDeletebet it was ms piggy behind him....just saying...ha.
ReplyDeleteA very nice story, Nessa. I love to look at pretty snow pictures and see the situations people enjoy or cuss out involving these nice snow storms on TV.
ReplyDeleteI would like to be able to fly to a lot of snow, play in it for a couple of hours, then fly back here in Southeast Texas where we have green trees instead of snow.
Now, the Boston Baked Bean Candy:
They are peanuts covered with a hard chocolate candy. I said this on my blog and had the link above also.
I think you missed that part.
Sorry 'bout that.

ReplyDeleteI'm green with envy.

ReplyDeleteI enlarged the picture...and there he was! LOL, I loved it :o)
ReplyDeleteThis...is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteYou do good, Nessa. Thank you for coming back. Since, I have been told that the candies are no longer hard. Probably because of all the broken teeth I was told.
ReplyDelete..
I'm rooting for Kermit! Fun 55.
ReplyDeleteKermit.....
ReplyDeleteShouldn't he be buried in the mud somewhere?
Thats creepy.
Makes for a Great 55 though!
Thanks for playing today Vanessa Kilmer, as always....You Rock!!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End....G
Go with the stalking. Much more flattering to be stalked than to be someone's gettaway vehicle!
ReplyDeleteOMG, this made me laugh like crazy! Hehe, you are hilarious and so is the image and the writing.;)) Poor Kermit.;) And you, hehe.;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Saturday,
xoxo
Looks like Kermit already got "picked up". I can't help but wonder if Ms. Piggy is driving the SUV. Can't help but wonder who's driving your car, too!
ReplyDeleteLOL the Kermit part was hilarious. As for the snow, I hope you stay safe and sound. Have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThe ice, snow and high winds are scary enough but being chased by Kermit is worse!
ReplyDeleteGreat 55.
Mine's up too.
The things they do to that poor frog!
ReplyDeletewe really ought to go back to the fancy metal hood ornaments that can stand up to winter! well at least you dot a chuckle- thanks.
I used to have an Alf doll nailed to a tree in my front yard.
ReplyDeleteNever got a lot of trick or treaters at that house.
It ain't easy being green! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteTo me that's creepy! It looks like the van driver hit Kermit and now he's plastered to the front of the vehicle!
ReplyDeleteor was he? yikes!
ReplyDeleteRun Kermit, run!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, poor poor kermit
