It's November so I NaNoWriMo.
I have participated since 2005. I did not finish that year (I barely got started.) In 2006, 2007 and 2008 I wrote three different stories. Last year, I came close but gave up Thanksgiving weekend as I wallowed in the joys of my new grandson.
I WILL finish this year. So far for 2 days I have 3,500 words. My NaNo name is goldennib. Be my buddy if you play.
The title of this year's story is:
Bind, Strangle and Suffocate: A Novel About a Family
Would you be a serial killer if you came from this family?
I'm sitting here with my NaNo file open, waiting for me right now. Who me, procrastinate?

ReplyDeleteThat way the readers won't get bored. A test (see last post) is if the author gets bored writing it then it MIGHT be a boring story.

ReplyDeleteNo, I do not NaNo. When I was a brand new blogger I signed up for their post a month October contest. Other than their welcome letter, they completely ignored me and despite the fact that I posted every single day, when they posted the list of those who finished my name wasn't there -- and my comment pointing out the error was totally ignored.
