Sunday 160 – It’s My Party

The room got quiet as little Nicholas
rose from his seat at table.
He approached the big man.
“Please, Sir.
It is my birthday party today.
Can I have some cake?”

I left for my daughter’s house at noon on Saturday 
to help her get ready for Nicholas’ first birthday party today. 
He was one on Thursday. 
This picture reminded me of Oliver Twist.
