“Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.” Rainer Maria Rilke
My Poem:
childlike
breezes caress my nape brushing the small hairs up on end
I dance across new grass encouraged by soft tickles on toes
laughter pirouetting through blossoming magnolias
and bursting fragrance from wild cherry trees
filled with starlings gossiping their winter adventures

And his mother goes Boo Hoo
