My husband's computer was attacked by the malware "XP Internet Explorer Anti-Virus" trojan. I have spent last night and tonight fighting this thing. It's a horror! People that create these things should be strung up by their little toes with fish hooks. Yes. It's that bad.
Oh. And I'll only be posting here from now on. What is this sickness where I need several blogs? Does it have a name?
Yea! One blog. Easier on me...and after all, according to Mr. Sister, it's all about me! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWell, now I won't miss a thing. 'Cause like my sister from another mother (above) it's all about me, too.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the virus!! What a nightmare, Nessa! I'm doing good to keep one blog going can't even imagine trying to do another. I have a novel of mine on a separate blog, but it's just there and doesn't need any daily attention! Hope the rest of your week goes better!!

Bummer. Chin up!
ReplyDeleteAnd why did you choose to keep blogspot, rather than the blog with your own url?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine keeping up with more than one blog, and to be honest I get a little confused when I go to someone's page and there is more than one blog listed, but maybe I confuse a little too easily. And speaking of confused, computer issues really throw me for a loop.
ReplyDeleteack. viruses suck! see i moved over...
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up with my one blog. I don't know how everyone with multiples does it.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the virus. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Sorry about the virus Vanessa I know it has to suck! I know about the multiblog syndrome as well it gets to be too rough to run more than one at a time the way I see it, run one blog the best you can rather than doing several but running the so-so!
ReplyDeletePlease don't delete you Rose and Prince Brendan blog. I'm using it.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why people have to be so destructive. I asked one of my IT friends about it and he said it usually comes from boredom.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how people could keep up with several blogs. I can barely stay up with one.
That's the same thing that ate 18 hours of my life. Of course that's largely because Trend Micro decided that they needed to spend 17 hours trying to sell me an upgrade (for their product that had just failed on an epic scale, which is of course why I'd called them in the first place) before they connected me to a technician who actually knew what they were doing in the first place and had it fixed in about an hour.
ReplyDeleteSeriously. The industry designed to fight malware's as bad as the industry that creates it.
I think the trojan peoples toes should be cut off.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the computer virus, I can understand your frustration. Hope it can be fixed.

**takes a huge swig of woo woo Your going back to blogger? pffft. Oh well I still love ya :)
ReplyDeleteIt's called "blogovitis"! It was driving me nuts until I got it down to one blog. lol
ReplyDeleteThat virus is a nasty one. Be careful removing it. It has a extra root kit payload that is just waiting to be released. If it is, it's over for the computer.
Whomever created it was a dumba$$ of the first order.
Let's all thank the guy who created the first computer virus. It was that dang macro viris, but it taught hackers that Windows is a huge security risk.
