Today is Quilly's Three Word Thursday #9. These are this week's words:
jussulent - full of broth or soup
tenebrous - dark; gloomy; obscure
ebullient - overflowing with fervor, enthusiasm, or excitement
I have combined them into A Poem a Day. It's a Twofer. Aren't you glad?
For today's prompt, I want you write a poem about a memory. The memory can be good or bad. The memory can be a blend of several memories. I suppose it could even be a memory that you're not sure you remember correctly. Take your time finding a good one (or good ones).
Attic Attack
self-contained child
lost in her world alone
not lonely solitary
annoyed mommy
repeatedly repeating
unheard falling
on deaf ears ebullient
angry martinent
imprisoned child
garret tenebrous black
screaming banging
adolescent manipulator
neighbors interfering
grandma to the rescue
fed her jussulent
abject misadventure
A Poem a Day at Poetic Asides
Nothing like doing two things at one time and doing them well. You do have talent.

ReplyDeleteYou are awesome girlie!
Aha! And Thom says he hates poetry! Listen to him NOW!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is QUITE a memory! Thank goodness for Grandma is all I can say!
Good job combining the projects, and they're both #9. That's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteYay for Grandmas! Mine saved me, too.
ReplyDeleteVery well done!! You're such a talented poet/writer!
ReplyDeleteDr. John: I live to multi-task.
ReplyDeleteJuliana: I’m gonna be a grandma soon.
Vampire Thom: Um, for someone who doesn’t like poetry, you sure do write lots of rhymes (my fav.)
Mary-Laure: Thank-you for your visit.
Noe Noe: No competion needed, just fun.
Melli: You know, vampires are known for their inability to stick to one decision.
Cherie: I like the synchrinicity, too.
Quilly: That’s why God made them.
Jientje: Thank-you so much.
Hi Nessa. I admire you for being able to write a poem every day. I set out to do that a while back and didn't succeed. Maybe I'll give it another try soon. Would have loved to join the PAD challenge, and just don't have the time to do so right now.
ReplyDeleteAlice: It is becoming a severe strain, but I am almost halfway done.
