Sandy: He is sitting on a railroad tie that surrounds one of my garden beds; the whitish pole is a rake handle; the blue object is a log sprinkler head.
Randall: They are the cutest little dinosaurs, aren't they?
Dragonstar: We have a great abundance and variety of birds here. I think we're on a flight path. I try to get more birdy pictures, but I'm usually walking my dog and he scares them away when he tries to play. I don't know what most of them are called, anyway.
Utterly wonderful--and a great composition too. Sparrows always touch my heart with their down-to-earth tenacity and their loud chirping. Thanks for sharing!
That's a lovely bird, Nessa. What's the object behind him?
ReplyDeleteThat photo really gives one perspective on just how tiny and delicate these creatures are. Wonderful picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You have the House Sparrow over in New Jersey? I'd no idea.

A most amazing photo.
ReplyDeleteSimple but beautiful.
Quint: So, sweet. Thank-you.
ReplyDeleteIt is 5:28 a.m. and the tree outside my living room window is alive with house sparrows greeting the day.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. Where are her 200+ relatives?
Quilly: I love the sound of the birds. Her relatives are above our heads in the oak, contemplating the tops of our heads.
ReplyDeleteJust visiting from G's; awesome pic!
ReplyDeleteI gotta take my camera out and try some "nature" pics. See? You've inspired me!
Thanks
Pavel: Welcome. I walk the same places everyday. I take my camera with me so I make sure I see the morning in a fresh way. Sort of zen-like; D
ReplyDeleteExcellent catch, very beautiful.
