Goldennib's Garden

I want a new job, but I want a completely different one. At first I thought I would just go to a different company, but there's no point in that. Most of my current job is ok: good pay, close to home, I know the work, I like the people and I have some clout after eleven years. I took the time to update my resume'. I got my professional certification. But, I want something totally different. I want to follow my heart's desire.

  1. And what does your heart desire? Sitting on the couch eating bon bons and watching television really doesn't pay very well.

  2. I'm following my heart's desire, but my job is a whole different thing. I mean, I like my job, but it's mostly just something that gives me the freedom to do what I want to do without having to worry about making money at it.

  3. Making things grow, coming up with dishes that nourish, not only the body, but the soul...putting words together in completely different ways - so that those reading feel a whoosh in their bellies...

    I know Nessa, I know....

  4. Quilly: This is my dilemma...I can't find any listing in the want ads for couch sitter; D

Diesel: I think I will need to follow your lead. I have put more emphasis on being very healthy so I can have the energy to continue with my responsibilities and do what I want at the same time.

Jenn: You put it so beautifully, as always.

  6. Life is too short to live with any regrets. When the final page is turned, do you really think your wish you had worked harder?

Go, live your dream. So you might not have as much money or power, they aren't really that important.

  7. I hope you do find what you want. It's good you have a decent situation while you're looking.

God bless, Nessa, and thanks for stopping by.

  10. Bloom where you are planted. All is the same no matter where you go....look carefully at your benefits and take a long weekend to put iritations into their proper place. You have just quoted my daughter so perfectly, you could never know. LOL

  11. Half the battle is just figuring out what you want to do as your hearts desire. So you are already half way there ;) Love your garden picture. I suppose my heart's desire is to live somewhere beautiful AND be able to afford it comfortably :) Did I say "Fantasy"?...

  12. Gretchen: I wish I would work harder at what I love. As soon as I figure out how to align my responsibilities and commitments to my family with my wants and needs, I’ll be set.

Sandy: I know what I want. I must do it.

Daniel: Okay. Can I say you said so? ;D

    Debs: Happy and guilt free?

    G: We’ll figure it out.

Pauline: That’s why I haven’t gone anywhere. I wouldn’t mind the irritations so much if I at least liked what I was doing. I’m just soooooooo bored.

    Tsduff: Fantasy is good, too.
