1:47 Minutes of the full moon, clouds, wind, chimes and even a jet engine on Sunday, December 23, 2007. A star or maybe Venus (?) is in the five o'clock position. A longer video, with better shots, is on my
Photo Site. Maybe you'll peek at my other blogs (look, look, right and up just a smidge) this weekend now that the holiday rush is over. They've been updated.
Nessa - what a FABULOUS movie of the moon! I love it - it should be in a movie, with the blowing clouds, wind and star.... I watched it several times! WOW!
ReplyDeletea great video, that is .. cheers!! :)
ReplyDeleteNessa, I kept expecting spooky music and a little twilight zone narration. I also liked how the moon seemed to move and the clouds appeared stationary. All that said, might I suggest a tripod? OC gifted me with one for Christmas and I've noticed a big difference in the clarity of my photos.
ReplyDeleteInteresting stuff. Well done!
ReplyDeleteGreat movie. AaaawooooOOOOOOOOO!!!
ReplyDeleteTsduff: You could almost feel the vampire ready to jump out at you
ReplyDelete; D
Hammett: It was fun being in all of that nature.
Quilly: I do have a tripod which I rarely use although I should. Here I was shooting alnost straight up and the wind was very strong, so I'm not sure it would help.
Sandy: Thanks. We had fun.
Doug: I cut all the parts where QV was talking and making me giggle.
I love the moon! Doesnt everything look magical in the moonlight?
ReplyDeleteHappy happy new year--may you realise all your goals.
PS: The moon makes everything special. Thanks, you, too.
ReplyDeleteNow that is just awesome. The wind and even the jet engine gave it special effects.
ReplyDeleteAndrea: I had to cut off most of the sound of the jet because my husband kept saying, "Listen to the jet. Listen to the jet." And then I laugh like a fool.
ReplyDeleteThat is fascinating :) With the jet sound it appears the moon is blasting off!
ReplyDeleteWhen got to Doug's "AaaawooooOOOOOOOOO!!!" in the comments, I could actually hear the howling. That tells a lot about your video!
ReplyDeletePauline: The moon did seem like it was moving.
ReplyDeleteAriel: Doug's howling would be a perfect addition.
Thanks for stopping by Writing in Faith and leaving a comment. I'm glad you liked the prayer and shared it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog. Skywatch has been a wonderful experience for me because it has exposed me to some really wonderful bloggers.
Sandy: The world can use as much help as it can get. I know I can.
ReplyDeleteThe moon still in darken side ...when will give the LIGHT
ReplyDeleteRaghu: The next day it was bright and shiny.
ReplyDeleteMy neck got sore from looking up. Oh, well, it was that realistic anyway. You know when Doug starts to howl, it seems real.
ReplyDeleteT & I: We have to help Doug let out all of his animal instincts.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind, but we used your video as an experiment and added music to it, just to see how it looked. It is on our Asinine News blog.
ReplyDeleteT & I: I can't wait to see/hear. Cool.
ReplyDeletehow awesome!
ReplyDeletehappy New Year!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Cold here today!
Thanks for sharing. I loved watching the stars when I was little. I miss that. I can only see stars in movies and print now. It's better than nothing. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Super wow! I'm off to the Photo Site even thou it's hard to imagine a better video of this.
ReplyDeleteMrs. N: It is about 62 here in NJ right now. It was in the single digits two days ago. Wacky.
ReplyDeleteShari: Heavenly bodies of any kind are fun to watch.
TLP: You sweetie.
All I could think of was Snoopy and "It was a dark and stormy night..." but there was no rain! lol
ReplyDeleteDabich: That's good. It would have been the perfect night for telling ghost stories. You and Tom gave me an idea. Now to see if I can do it.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty neat. Some fast moving clouds there.
ReplyDeleteIf you look real closely, you'll see me fly by.
ReplyDeleteHey you. Happy Happy New Year.
Thanks for always stopping by. Hoping to have more time to visit soon.
Diesel: Not really. I was moving the camera; D
ReplyDeleteSwampy: I thought I saw you fly by.
very eerrie looking
ReplyDeleteLilli & Nevada: It felt a little spooky.
ReplyDeleteI really like night shots but I find them hard to take and get a good shot! The video was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me!
KC: Night shots are hard to get a satisfying picture.
