I have some pictures up of what my office/studio looks like now. I will put up new pictures as I improve the place.
I switched this blog to the new Blogger version. I apologize if it causes anyone trouble. All of the others were done a while ago. It really is easy to customize with this version.
I got this from Quilly. It made me think of a few stories. I’ll try to tell them next week.
1. Do you have any nicknames? Besides the ones you already know here, in the real world some loved ones call me Aunt Verdi. You figure it out.
2. What is your favorite drink? Gin & tonic.
3. Tattoos? I don’t think so.
4. Any piercing? Ears; two in the left, one in the right.

14. Favorite food? My mother’s spaghetti
15. Favorite day of the week? Any day I am not working.
16. Favorite brand of body soap? Dove
17. Favorite Tooth Paste? Crest
18. Favorite smell? Vanilla, lavender and cinnamon
19. What do you do to relax? Sleep
21. How do you see yourself in 10 years? Retired, living in the mountains and writing and crafting.
22. What do you do when you are bored? Depends on why I’m bored.

I love lavender! I have tried to grow it several times but do not have enough sun. I'm waiting now to see if my most recent try comes up in the spring!
ReplyDeleteIf you're taking requests I'd like to know the story behind the question mark on 'played cops and robbers naked'.
ReplyDeleteWow! All you have to do now is steal and car and crash it while you're singing Karaoke and you'll have done it all!
ReplyDeleteNessa, I am suing you for alienation of affection. Brooke has posted this meme and she did not steal it from my blog, she stole it from yours! You are collecting my family members as your own!
ReplyDeleteAbout those 'before' pictures of the office/studio - I'd keep the dog and toss the rest and start over. LOL
ReplyDeleteBeen shot at by an arrow - AND had a gun pointed at you???!! I'd have had a heart attack and wouldn't be around to tell about it if it had been me! :-)
Wow, I'm exhausted after just reading this. I think I would have given up babysitting after that little experience.
ReplyDeleteWell Nessa you sound as though you've had a very exciteing life!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you write you've got so many stories to tell!
Is that cabin in the Poconos by chance??
ReplyDeleteThanks for all that information. even though it was a bit more than my poor brain can process in one sitting. I'll have to coem back and read it again.
ReplyDeleteGawilli: I have tried growing lavender, too. True lavender seems to be hard to grow. I have some on my glassed in front porch and it is like a dead stick. I hope it comes back in the spring.
ReplyDeleteMr. Fab: That’s one that makes me giggle. I’ll tell it this week, although it says a few not so nice things about me.
PTB: Well, Saturday night…I wish. That was actually innocent child’s play.
Quilly: When I did the list, I was a little surprised at myself. I forgot half that stuff. Please don’t sue me. I’m just paying it forward. I gave you credit.
Jackie: That’s Cody. He’s the sweetest. I have a tendency to get lost in the heat of the moment. Those are two more I should tell.
Logo: And the babysitting from hell job, too. I should be given really good drugs for the trauma I have had to endure; D
Tina: I am very boring now.
Dr. John: It is quite a long list.
I've tried growing lavender. It made it thru the first winter and bought the farm the second. So now I stick to the dried lavender sachets and the essential oil in soap.
ReplyDelete:) :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I saw this over at Quilly´s place.
I am glad you have been kissed under the mistletoe...any stories around that topic will be well appreciated;)
Last year, maybe?
That tree doesn´t grow here, so we basically never get a chance to try to kiss someone we like, without having that excuse :)
That's a tough babysitting gig, getting a knife pulled on ya.
ReplyDeleteMy word girl!!! You sound almost street smart there! Were you traumatized for life after that babysitting job! lol Summing it up in one word "Run"!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least noone will ever accuse you of not having had a full life and it does sound like you have settled down a bit now! hehe!
I think everyone should experience dancing in the rain at least once in their life! :)
Always nice to find out a bit more about someone, nice to see like me you have the sense to stay away from karaoke machines!
ReplyDeleteSo, how badly was the armored car damaged? I love reading these.
ReplyDeleteThat is gonna be one rocking office! I had to laugh, I also had a dollhouse, a dressmakers dummy and a dog cluttering up the space I converted to my dressing room.
ReplyDeletePaid for a meal with only coins.
ReplyDeleteYou just gave me a great idea. Next time I take Laura to a really fancy restaurant, and we run up a bill of, say, $200 I'm gonna pay all in coins!
what happened to # 20?
ReplyDeleteWill be interested to see your "after" pictures and the progress you'll be making. I'm so bad at all that!
ReplyDeleteI still can't switch to new Blogger. Have no idea why.
Also, OUCH! Did you have any major injuries after running into the armored car?
WOW, that dollhouse is fantastic! Did someone make that for you, I've never seen one that big ... pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteI sang karaoke for the first time in 2005. It was a scary event for me. The song was Losing My Religion. I think I lost the crowd.
ReplyDeleteFun stuff. I really enjoy the pics of your environs...and the doggie is sooooo cute.
ReplyDeleteSerra: I found a place to buy good dried lavender, but I still try growing it every year.
ReplyDeleteMinka: It was many years ago. Now they sell fake mistletoe. Apparently some bright folks let their kids eat it and the government no longer feels we are responsible enough to have the real thing.
Grunty: Yes, that soured me on a few things.
Pamela: I may have had one or two exciting moments.
Bazza: They couldn’t turn the volume up load enough to prevent dogs from howling if I sing.
Swampy: I am trying to get tale written. I laugh every time I think about it (now.)
Kat: Yes, always lots of stuff I have a hard time parting with. I hope my space ends up as nice as yours.
Dan: Make sure you use pennies. That’s the most fun.
Anon: It was missing when I got the list. I wonder what is was?
DCMM: I will do pictures as I go along. I am writing the armored car story. I’ll have it done for the weekend (I hope.)
Anita: I put that dollhouse together. I also did one for my niece. My daughter and I are going to do the inside some day.
Egan: It would be scary for me too. I really admire people who can sing in public. I only do it alone in the car.
Cindra: The doggy is the bestest.
Dabich: Sorry I missed you. The cabin is above the Poconos and to the west slightly. If you know the area, it's in Sullivan County in a very small town called Wheelerville, which is where my father was born and grew up.
ReplyDeleteWell you certainly are living a full life. I loved that. Onto your office - it's got great potential to host your creativity - go fot it!
ReplyDeleteThose are interesting! Your office is goign to look great when you are done, I like the room!
ReplyDeleteLooks sorta like my Lego room ... um, without the Lego.
ReplyDeleteYou've had a gun pointed at you???
ReplyDeletecan't wait for the story...
Catalina dressing all the way, girfren!
ReplyDeleteG: I sometimes forget some of the things I've done. Weird.
ReplyDeleteJamie: I think it will be a happy place for me.
Mal: I bet I could find some Lego in my stuff, too. I'd like to see a picture of you Lego room.
Guggs: Glad to see you back. Yes, I'm working on that story next. I'm finishing the armoured car one, now.
Gawpo: Yum!
I got dumped. Then I blew bubbles and crashed a party. Now I'm fine.
ReplyDeleteGawpo: Blowing bubbles helps with many things; so does party crashing. I'm glad you are fine.
